Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling from Nahe Germany opens with a mild ginger and light lime zest bouquet with a hint of Easter lily. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and mouthcoating. The flavor profile is a blend of light lime and chalky minerality along with notes of white tea. I also picked up some hints of lychee and a touch of ginger mixed in. The finish is slightly sweet and drifts away nicely. This Riesling would pair well with grilled scallops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A plush style, with plenty of white fruit flavors and a good backbone of acidity. Ripe melon and spice fill the juicy finish. Food Pairing: A perfect match for strong Indian and Asian spiced dishes. Also fantastic with roasted vegetables and soft cheeses.
