Wine Review: This midnight garnet colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Patent opens with a black currant and old leather bouquet with hints of graphite, loam, and muddled mint. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a ripe blackberry and graphite blend with notes of oak and mulberry. We also detected hints of black licorice and mushroom. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate tannins linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with a grilled hanger steak. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: A deep ruby red color with brilliant clarity. Complex and clean aromas of spice: clove and pepper; touches of cedar, cocoa, and forest floor. The balanced flavors on the palate touch all the bases, showing remarkable potential for aging; although ready right now for essentially anything grilled, cheeses, and pasta. This wine will only get better with age!
