Wine Review: In the glass, this very approachable Italian red blend is a brilliant red color with red cherry, red plum, paraffin, tomato leaf, white pepper, nutmeg, and vanilla in the bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, silky smooth and juicy. This wine is straight-forward and enjoyable. There are flavors of tart red cherry, vanilla, dried strawberry, and stone dust with notes of tobacco and blackberry. There are light tannins that are present on a long dry finish. Serve with beef braciole. - Mark
