Wine Review: This dark red colored Malbec based blend from Pascual Toso opens with a blackberry and wet stone bouquet with hints of saddle leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with nicely balanced medium acidity. It is round and fruity. The flavor profile is a stewed plum and fine stony minerality. I also detected notes of green tea and dried herbs. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins drift away nicely. This easy-going wine will pair well with steak fajita's or your favorite burger off the grill. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This complex, yet well-balanced wine presents an elegant style with hints of ripe plums and raspberry fruit. Gentle tannins and slightly toasted spice and chocolate on the palate move to a long and focused finish. It is an ideal match for lamb and fine cheeses.
