Wine Review: This deep purple colored Malbec opens with a musty black raspberry, chocolate, and blueberry bouquet. We also detected hints of crushed shells and cedar. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, balanced, lush, and concentrated. The flavor profile is a stewed black plum and black tea blend with notes of oak, black raspberry, and cola We also detected hints of walnuts and blackberry. The finish is dry and its bold and dusty tannins stick around for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Malbec with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Alta Malbec is a special wine, made with grapes from sixty-year-old vines. It presents slight hints of violet and a fruity nose that evokes blackberries, spices and tobacco. This Malbec finishes with a rich and lingering palate.
