Wine Review: This pitch black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Argentina is very good. It opens with a pleasant mild black currant bouquet with a hint of blackberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a gentle oak and mineral infused black currant with hints of black olive and black raspberry. The finish is dry and its medium tannins and flavors are nicely prolonged. This Cabernet would pair very nicely with braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This complex yet well balanced wine presents an elegant style with hints of ripe plums and raspberry fruit. Gentle tannins and slightly toasted, spice and chocolate on the palate and a long, lingering focused finish. Ideal match for red meats, lamb, pasta and fine French cheeses.
