Wine Review: This pitch black colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine from Priorat is very interesting. It opens with black raspberry and prune bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and concentrated. The flavor profile is an extracted stewed plum and bell pepper blend with hints of prune, thyme and oak. The finish is dry and its big tannins stick around for quite some time. This wine will appeal to port fans. I would enjoy this big boy by the fireplace on a cold winters night. Enjoy - Ken
