Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a cranberry and pomegranate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is amazing. It is balanced, round, seamless and super smooth. The flavor profile is a blackberry, stony minerality, and red currant blend with notes of craisin and black tea. I also detected hints of oak, black licorice, and plum. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins build-up and stick around for quite a while. This Cab would pair very nicely with Roy's rib roast.
