Wine Review: This midnight purple colored red blend from Paraduxx is very good! It opens with a black currant and spiced plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty black currant with notes of minerality, oak and dark chocolate. I also detected a hint of black cherry and dash of black pepper towards the end. The finish drifts away nicely. This Cab based blend would pair very nicely with grilled Italian sweet sausages with summer vegetables. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine begins with alluring aromas of black currant and blueberry, as well as a subtle underlying note of rich milk chocolate. On the palate, luxurious layers of berry jam, sandalwood and leather mingle with hints of toasted coconut, all supported by a silky texture that carries the wine to a long, supple finish.
