Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored red blend opens with fragrant ripe blackberry bouquet with a hint of black currant with black licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is black plum notes of mild black currant and blackberry. The finish is dry and its mild sweet oak tannins are very friendly. This wine would pair well with a messy rack of ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A lush, medium-weight wine with a smooth, velvety entry and resolved tannins. The aromas are dark and brambly, with raspberry jam, black cherry, cedar and dark chocolate notes, as well as subtler hints of pepper, cinnamon, clove and molasses. Offers abundant chocolate-covered black cherry and dark fruit flavors with sophisticated accents of dried sage and tobacco leaf – Winemaker David Marchesi
