Wine Review: This deep purple colored Syrah based wine from Force Majeure – Parabellum I s Excellent. It opens with a black currant, craisin, bouquet with hints of espresso and boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, super smooth and fresh. The flavor profile is a mocha and black currant blend with notes of oak and blueberry. I also detected some hints of black tea, black licorice, acai berry and touch of black olive in the complex blend. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins drift away nicely. I would enjoy sipping this great value wine by the campfire this summer. Enjoy - Ken
