Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot from Papapietro Perry opens with a red plum and black raspberry bouquet with hints of graphite. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, juicy and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty black raspberry with notes of oak and black cherry. We also detected hints of faint oak. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a while. The Panel suggested pairing this Pinot with a Colorado rack of lamb. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Deep garnet color with aromas of brambly dark fruit. On the palate, a concentrated, nicely wound core of dark, brooding fruit melds with dark raspberry and blackberry notes. Nice mouthfeel, very balanced wine framed by refreshing acidity and fine smooth tannins.
