Wine Review: Displaying rustic aromas of tomato leaf and dried herbs, this semi-opaque ruby Tempranillo and Grenache blend opens with a more modern flavor profile consisting of black raspberry and fresh-picked plums; look for a hint of blueberry on the back end and into the finish. The minerals and acidity are both soft and the tannins are fully resolved, leaving the wine round and juicy, easy drinking and versatile. It would pair well with a jamon Iberico sandwich, and it will transition seamlessly into the summer for a host of grilling options. - Jeoff
Winemaker Notes: La Vendimia displays notes of ripe red and yellow cherries both in the nose and on the palate. Juicy orchard fruit are blended seamlessly with silky undertones of soft minerality, culminating in a long, refreshing finish. Meant to drink now through the next three years, this enjoyable wine can also be served slightly chilled.
