Wine Review: This straw colored Albarino from Rias Baixas is a good option to consider with seafood. It opens with a Granny Smith apple and lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, pleasantly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a lime and mineral blend with notes of light grapefruit with a hint of ginger. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors are nicely prolonged. This Albarino would pair nicely with sushi. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Green flecked lemon water ice in hue. Very fine with expressive but understated notes of apple, peach and zesty citrus elements; crisp and refreshing with excellent acidity, verve, backbone, and length. Pair with fish, shellfish, medium cheeses and most oriental dishes.
