Wine Review: This dark ruby red colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with a mild raspberry bouquet with hints of vanilla, cherry and watermelon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and rich. The flavor profile is a gentle cola with notes of red cherry and red raspberry. We also detected hints of vanilla-oak. The finish is dry with a long lingering finish. The Panel thought this crowd pleasing Pinot would pair well with pan roasted duck breast with sherry, honey and thyme or homemade meatloaf. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: An aromatic blend of thyme and oak spice, this blend of 45% Wadenswil, 45% Dijon 113 and 10% Pommard clones is bursting with opulent flavors of eucalyptus, baking chocolate, black pepper and clove. Juicy raspberry and floral rose petal notes linger across the elegant mid-palate, creating a balanced and complex mouthfeel and lasting finish.
