Wine Review: This light coral colored wine from Portugal is an Old World styled Rose. It opens wet stone and tangerine bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a strong mineral infused light Maraschino cherry with notes of ginger ale and faint red raspberry. The finish is dry and refreshing. This is a very nice offering to consider on a hot summer day. I would serve it with marinated grilled shrimp. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: In 2016 we stumbled upon a perfect little farm in the heart of Alentejo, Portugal. On that farm was a small vineyard, planted with vines and surrounded by trees. From that vineyard we made Rose. Our 2016 Rose is both restrained and charming, perfect for spring. One is reminded of spring flowers & fresh strawberries.
