Wine Review: This pale straw colored Albarino from Opolo is very good. It opens with a pleasant clementine and lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and round. The flavor profile is a yellow grapefruit with notes of quinine and lime zest. The finish is off-dry and refreshing. The Panel suggested pairing this with spicy Thai or Chinese food. Enjoy – KWGTP (SIP Certified)
Winemaker Notes: Driving down the road you see your favorite farm stand is finally open for summer, as you slow down and roll your windows down, huge wafts of orange blossoms take over your senses. Once parked you peruse through all of nature’s current bounty of melons’, ripe nectarines, rainier cherries, and freshly bagged Thai basil, all while partaking in a sample of freshly cut apricot.
