Wine Review: This almost clear colored Viognier from Opolo opens with a pineapple, Anjou pear and floral bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and nicely balanced between its fruit and acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty Anjou pear with notes of pineapple, apricot and minerality. We also picked up hints of white pepper and lemon as well. The finish is dry and shows very nice length. The Panel suggested pairing this Viognier with Emeril’s crab cakes. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Grown on our own estate, concentrated flavors of tropical fruit, honeysuckle, papaya, and Crenshaw melon practically jump out of the glass. A delightfully fleshy and unctuous mid-mouth, leads into a vibrant green apple and guava finish. Drink Now.
