Wine Review: This ruby colored Zinfandel from Once and Future opens with a black cherry and pomegranate bouquet with hints of cinnamon, clay, and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and seamless. The flavor profile is a black plum and stone dust blend with notes of mild red raspberries. We also detected hints of black cherry, and black tea. The finish is dry, and its well-managed fine dusty tannins are very nicely sustained. The Tasting Panel would then pair this Zin with a pub burger. Enjoy – KWGTP
