Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Petite Sirah from Once & Future opens with a mulberry and blueberry bouquet with hints of potpourri, orange peel and mushrooms. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, lush and juicy for a Petite Sirah. The flavor profile is crushed stone dust and black plum blend with notes of cedar and red licorice. We also detected hints of fig, black pepper, and green tea. The finish is dry, and its fresh acidity and dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Petite Sirah with slow cooked pot roast. Enjoy – KWGTP
