Wine Review: This medium purple colored Merlot opens with a pencil lead and black cherry bouquet with hints of black raspberry and juniper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, super smooth, subtle, and elegant. The flavor profile is a blend of black plum and crushed stone minerality with notes clay pot, black cherry, and bay leaf. We also detected hints of pepper and black tea in the mix. The finish is dry, and its dusty mild tannins linger and last for a long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Merlot with a Brazilian fire roasted beef alcatra or with a braised veal chop .
