Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a boysenberry and allspice bouquet with hints of oak and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, super-smooth and seamless. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry and crushed stone blend with notes of black raspberry and dried herbs. We also detected hints of oak in the mix. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins build-up and linger for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Zin with marinated grilled hanger steak or with a prime rib. Enjoy – KWGTP
