Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a boysenberry and moist pipe tobacco bouquet with hints of blackberry, orange zest and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth, and juicy. This flavor profile is black raspberry, cinnamon, and allspice blend with notes of stewed plum and orange twist. We also detected some hints of black cherry and gentle oak in the after taste. The finish is dry and medium tannins that stick around and linger and last for a very long time. The Panel would pair this Zin with braised short ribs or a garlic crusted rack of lamb. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Teldeschi Zinfandel has a lovely deep color. The nose is a perfumed mix of black cherries, citrus zest, vanilla and exotic spice. The mouth feel is round and silky smooth. The finish is fresh, bright, fruitful, balanced and persistent. Delicious now, this will provide drinking pleasure for many more years.
