Wine Review: This dark red colored chillable red blend from Olivia Brion opens with an attractive strawberry and red licorice bouquet with hints of red raspberry, rose petal, and black pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is gentle strawberry and chalky minerality blend with notes of red plum and cherry-cola. We also detected hints of green tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors drift away nicely. We would serve this quaffer red blend, cool on a warm day on the porch. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A perfect chilled red - this has been a dream of mine for quite some time. I don’t enjoy the bitterness often found in ice cold red wines. I want the wine to be plush and zesty and easy to drink but with distinctive aromas like my favorite whites. This wine is dedicated to that dream. It is soft on the palate but not devoid of intensity. It tastes just as good straight out of the cold box as it does when it warms gently in your hands.
