Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Olivia Brion opens with an inviting gentle strawberry and red raspberry bouquet with hints of red plum and earth. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, refined, delicate, and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty red plum and a gentle red raspberry tea blend with notes of loam. hints of rhubarb, mushroom, and chalky minerality. The finish is dry and well managed fine-grained tannins drifts away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this food friendly Pinot Noir with mushroom risotto or lamb kabobs. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The nose enters with a deep black cherry and raspberry compote. The rich berries blend on the palate with a hint of bay leaf, ground cardamom and a delicate bouquet of violets. The finish carries on for at least a minute like a reduced cherry glaze being dripped over a suckling pork.
