Wine Review: This dark red colored Grenache from Olivia Brion opens with black raspberry and violet bouquet with hints of cherry. cranberry, and fresh mushroom. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, delicate, round, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a pleasant black plum and oak blend with notes of gentle red licorice, herbal tea, and spice. The finish is dry, and its well-managed tannins linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this food friendly Grenache with a pork roast or with Emeril’s Portuguese-style white bean soup with chicken and bacon. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: A perfect chilled red - this has been a dream of mine for quite some time. I want the wine to be plush and zesty and easy to drink but with distinctive aromas like my favorite whites. This wine is dedicated to that dream. It is soft on the palate but not devoid of intensity. It tastes just as good straight out of the cold box as it does when it warms gently in your hands.
