Wine Review: This light and clean Sauvignon Blanc from Napa is medium straw color, with aromas of yellow grapefruit, straw, and gentle white florals in the bouquet. On the palate, this wine is fresh, bright, and light bodied with medium-plus acidity. It is nicely balanced and textured. Flavors include yellow grapefruit, crushed stone, and Galia melon. The finish is mouthwatering and very long lasting. Serve chilled as a sipper on the deck or with a grilled chicken topped Caesar salad. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Tony Coltrin set out to maximize fruit expression in our 2022 Oberon Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley. "We used both cold tank fermentation and 14% barrel fermentation to maximize the overall fruit expression. The cold-fermentation in tank helps us maintain the pureness of fruit and aromatics, and barrel fermentation adds a subtle creaminess and length."
