Wine Review: This light-yellow colored Chardonnay from Argentina is a very good value. It opens with pineapple and pink grapefruit bouquet with hints of lemon-lime. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright, rounded and refreshing. The flavor profile is a lemon tea and saline blend with notes of chalky minerality and green apple. I also detected hints of white pepper and lime. The finish remains refreshing. Hence, this is a very nice summer, Chard. I would serve it slightly chilled. With food, pair it with fish tacos. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine has a bright hue with greenish tints. The nose offers ripened fruits and citrus, with mineral notes and vanilla that give it great complexity and elegance. The palate shows an excellent balance between sweetness and acidity. The flavors are green apple and marzipan with a seamless integration of chalk-like minerality resulting in a long, fresh, and lingering finish.
