Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Merlot from Walla Walla opens with a mild blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very easy to enjoy. The flavor profile is a tasty mild blueberry with notes of milk chocolate in the background. I also detected a hint of licorice and minerality as well. The finish is dry and its well managed mild tannins drift away nicely. This Merlot is drinking superbly now. I would pair it with a filet mignon in the near term. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Densely layered, lush, and elegant, this limited production Merlot from Walla Walla showcases notes of bright red fruits, vanilla, cherry cola and earthy, dusty spices leading into a long and satisfying finish. An opulent wine to enjoy with hearty fare.
