Wine Review: If you love dry and refreshing wine with tropical flavors that can be enjoyed on a hot summer afternoon on your patio, then this Sauvignon Blanc is for you. It is straw colored with a complex bouquet of grapefruit, pineapple, cut grass and wet pavement. It is light bodied with just the right amount of acidity and is almost a little creamy. I found flavors of grapefruit, lime and melon, along with some integrated minerality. A crisp clean finish begs for the next sip. Enjoy with garlic shrimp. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Colour: Pale yellow. Aroma: Herbaceous notes of freshly cut grass along with honeydew melon, jasmine, hints of mandarin, and a slight minerality. Palate: Fresh and crisp with zesty flavours of ripe tropical fruits follow through to display a pleasant roundness with great depth. The wine unfolds to show fruit-salad notes and canned peaches and pears. Food Pairing: Enjoyable on its own as an aperitif or with lemon herb chicken, summer salads, or lighter seafood dishes.
