Wine Review: This dark ruby colored wine opens with an old oak and plum bouquet with a hint of prune. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a mild red currant and plum blend with a hint of gentle oak in the background. The finish is dry and its medium tannins are rather sticky and show quite a bit of length. This wine needs some fat. Pair it with slow cooked beef brisket. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2010 Nita is perfect for those who want to taste the fruit and terrior of a wine in its purest form. Crisp, clean, and bright in color, this wine has a juicy entry that is supported by delicate minerality and a round, smooth finish. Meant to drink now or up to 5 years. This easy to drink wine is a perfect accompaniment to a variety of dishes including BBQ, chinese, and Italian cuisine.
