Wine Review: This dark red colored wine from Priorat opens with a barnyard and red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and very smooth. The flavor profile is a mild black cherry with integrated cedar plank and hint of plum and anise. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build and are very sticky. This Old World styled wine would be very good with barbecue beef brisket. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: With delicate aromas of soft mint, wet flint, violet, plum and chocolate, this wine is well-balanced with silky, mature tannins and notes of black licorice and wild berry jam that linger on the finish. Designed to be consumed upon release, this wine can also age for up to 5 years in bottle.
