Wine Review: This bright ruby colored Shiraz from Barossa is a very good value. It opens with a dark chocolate and red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused black plum with notes of oak and black pepper. I also detected hints of licorice. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are well managed. This Shiraz would be a very good pairing for a juicy bacon burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark berry colored with purple hues. An intensely aromatic wine with a fragrance of blackberries, dark cherries and chocolate, with cedar and a hint of clove. Multi-layered sweet fruit flavours with powerful yet supple tannins; full middle palate, and a long satisfying finish. Serve with stews or red meats.
