Wine Review: This straw colored Riesling opens with a fragrant ripe pear bouquet with a hint of lime. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, pleasantly sweet, and has very nice crisp acidity mixed in. The flavor profile is a tasty blend of apple and ripe pear. I also detected some mild minerality and a hint of lime. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Riesling is a great value and a perfect beach wine. I would pair it with chicken lo-mein. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Nik Weis Selection label attests to the fact that the wine has met Nik’s rigorous standards and reflects the traditional taste profile of top quality Mosel Riesling wine: brilliant fruit and Mosel-slate mineral flavours, lively acidity, ripe floral aromas. Delicious on its own, or a perfect accompaniment to light or spicy dishes.
