Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling has just a bit of white gold tinge to it. On the palate, this wine opens with a mild green pear bouquet with a hint of anise. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly sweet and round. The flavor profile is a tasty lime and tangerine blend with hints of apricot and minerality. The finish is semi-dry and lingers nicely for quite an amount of time after it is gone. This is a terrific entry level Riesling and it would pair nicely with Lotus Blossom's General Gau's Chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Nik. Weis Selection label attests to the fact that the wine has met Nik's rigorous standards and reflects the traditional taste profile of top quality Mosel Riesling wine: brilliant fruit and Mosel-slate mineral flavours, lively acidity, an ripe floral aromas. Delicious on its own, or a perfect accompaniment to light or spicy dishes.
