Wine Review: This pale gold and translucent colored Riesling from Nik Weis opens with a ginger and wet stone bouquet with hints of grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, off-dry, slightly round, and approachable. The flavor profile is candied ginger and peach blend with notes of grapefruit, lime and stony minerality. The finish is remains slightly sweet and lingers nicely. The Tasting Panel would serve this friendly Riesling with swordfish kabobs or steamed cherrystone clams. Enjoy – KWGTP
