Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Riesling from Nik Weis opens with green apple and honeysuckle bouquet with hints of petrol, lemon, and daffodil. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright, racy, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is stony minerality, tangy grapefruit, and lime blend with notes of white pepper and saline. We also detected some hints of lemon and green apple. The finish is dry, extended and very refreshing. The Tasting Panel would pair this Riesling with a beach. With food we would pair it with fried calamari. Enjoy – KWGTP
