Wine Review: This white gold colored Riesling from Nik Weis opens with a mild ginger and wet stone bouquet with hints of green apple and tangerine. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with bright acidity and pleasant sweetness. The combination is quite mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tangy lime and green tea blend with notes of ripe Bosc pear, saline and stony minerality. The finish is remains pleasantly sweet and subtle. This Riesling is food friendly and will pair ideally with Asian dishes. I would pair it with chicken lo-mein. Enjoy - Ken
