Wine Review: This light-yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa opens with a passion fruit and pear bouquet with hints of honeydew melon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright, round, and zesty. The flavor profile is a green tea and lime blend with notes of mild white grapefruit and passion fruit. I also detected hints of chalky minerality and tonic water. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely extended. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with grilled scallops. Enjoy - Ken
