Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa was recommended via our blind tasting by the tasting panel. It opens with a mild grapefruit bouquet with a hint of lime, melon, and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mild grapefruit with notes of gentle lime. We also detected hints of nectarine, green pepper and quinine. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. The panel suggested pairing this wine with grilled swordfish kabobs or a seafood casserole. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Predominant flavours are those of tropical fruit with herbaceous overtones, whilst the overall impression is of elegance and delicacy with a long flavoursome finish.
