Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet from South Africa opens with earthy moss and old oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile classic South African. It is an oak infused plum with notes of black pepper and black currant. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this Old World styled Cab with Shepherd’s pie. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Medium red, purple in colour, the wine has tones of blackcurrant, violet and cedar aromas with touches of mint. The rich, ripe opulent but youthful palate has plummy fruit, a background of new oak and fine tannins. This is a multi-faceted wine that needs time to mature.
