Wine Review: This medium garnet colored Pinot Noir opens with a fragrant cherry-cola and strawberry bouquet with hints of tobacco leaf, nutmeg and flint stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with pleasant bright acidity. We also found it to be juicy. The flavor profile is flinty mineral influenced tart red plum with notes of gentle oak, cola and maraschino cherry towards the end. There was also a hint of red licorice mixed in. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity fade away nicely. The Panel would pair this Pinot with a hunter’s stew or a mushroom risotto. Enjoy – KWGTP
