Wine Review: This orangish pink colored wine from Navarro is a crowd pleaser and won’t last long. It opens with a tangerine, watermelon and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, it is light bodied, nicely balanced and very easy to drink. Like the nose, its flavor profile features a tasty mild mineral infused tangerine and watermelon blend with hints of lime. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Rose is a real summer quaffer. Serve is chilled with a grilled mahi-mahi sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine was aged for four months in seasoned French oak barrels and the result is a bone-dry, moderate-alcohol wine with a thought-provoking flinty, ocean-spray quality and enough charming color and flavor to guarantee that you and your pals can still have a bundle of fun this summer. Perfect to pair with shellfish.
