Wine Review: This light straw-colored Riesling from Navarro initially displays hundreds of microscopic bubbles in the glass that quickly dissipate. On the nose, this wine displays ginger, pineapple and pear aromas. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral infused green apple with notes of ginger and apricot pit. I also detected a touch of lemon zest and honey mixed in as well. The finish is dry and slows drifts away. This Riesling would pair nicely with swordfish skewers. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Bee hives waking up in spring. Mouth has apple, stone fruit and citrus. Very clean, very pretty.
