Wine Review: This pale straw colored Riesling from Navarro opens with a faint lime bouquet with a hint of ginger. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced and dry. The flavor profile is a mineral infused quince with hints of walnut and green apple. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Riesling would pair well with soy-balsamic glazed sea scallops or a chicken stir fried dish. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: With this vintage we decided to bottle the wine considerably drier than any preceding vintage, resulting in a shimmering moonlight sonata of bright flavors: an alluring mixture of beeswax, white nectarine and marzipan aromas with an amazingly dry, focused finish.
