Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Pinot Blanc from Navarro opens with a papaya and lemon verbena bouquet with hints lychee and bee’s wax mixed in as well. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity and has a lush mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a gentle papaya and Bosc pear blend with notes of clover honey. We also detected hints of apricot, almond and tangerine. The finish is dry and refreshing. The Panel suggested pairing this Pinot Blanc with a scallop and pasta dish with an orange cream sauce, fettuccini alfredo, or pan-fried tilapia. Enjoy - KWGTP
