Wine Review: This pale gold colored dessert wine from Navarro was very-well received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a honeyed lychee and pineapple bouquet with hints of red grapes and ginger. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, thick and viscous. We also found it to be rich and quite sweet. The flavor profile is a very tasty ripe lychee with notes of poached Bartlett pear. We also detected notes of candied apple and peaches towards the finish with a hint of ginger. The finish remains sweet and its flavors drift away nicely. The Panel suggested sipping this gem on its own for dessert! It is a treat all by itself! Enjoy - KWGTP
