Wine Review: This light gold colored Blanc de Noir from Navarro also has pink tinge to it. It opens with a mild tangerine and ginger bouquet with hints of crisp apple and honeysuckle. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with zesty medium acidity. The flavor profile is a ginger influenced Anjou pear with notes of nectarine pit and minerality. We also detected hints of white pepper, green tea and tangerine. The finish is dry and refreshing. This white Pinot Noir would pair nicely with swordfish skewers or a macadamia nut crusted halibut with fresh herbs and coconut sauce. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: We decided in 2019 to produce a dry white wine from Pinot Noir grapes—whole-berry pressed exactly as we do for sparkling wine. The result was peachy tropical flavors that progress to cantaloupe; Pinot Noir roundness with surprisingly bright minerality and an opulent mouthfeel.
