Wine Review: This very pale straw colored Gewurztraminer displays lots of very tiny bubbles in the glass upon pouring. They go away with a quick swirl. On the nose, this wine opens with a fragrant lychee and bees wax bouquet with a hint of lemon. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a lychee and lemon verbena blend with notes of peach and a hint of ginger and grapefruit. The finish is rather dry, yet its fruit flavors linger nicely. This Gewurz is very food friendly and would pair very nicely with Thai spring rolls. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: After a series of nine tastings the final blend was selected. We were dazzled by the freshness and crispness of this bone-dry cuvee; it's the driest Gewurz we've ever bottled but features a rounded mouthfeel, a result of Navarro's sur lie aging regime.
