Wine Review: This white gold colored Gewurztraminer from the “Deep End” of the Anderson Valley opens with a fragrant yellow grapefruit and lychee bouquet with a hint of lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a ginger and lychee blend with notes of white pepper. I also detected hints of yellow grapefruit and a drop of clover honey towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This classy Gewurz is also food friendly. I would pair it with Thai cashew chicken. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: During our blending trials in 2017 we were so impressed by this lot from the top of the hill that we decided to assign it the designation we use for Navarro's best of the best: Deep End Blend.
